Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
Audiolink can engineer and design a bespoke solution for your building, facility or campus. Distributed Antenna Systems (also known as Bi-Directional Amplifiers – BDA) bring wireless signals from outside your structure, amplify the signal and then distribute it evenly throughout the structure, to ensure strong coverage where the existing network is not able to provide the required solutions. Effectively, we are setting up a network of relatively small antennas throughout your building to serve as repeaters. The solutions are complex and require proper engineering design, analysis and installation, in order to make them work correctly and efficiently for your specific situation. And, with decades of experience in successfully installing Distributed Antenna Solutions, we have the know-how.
With our single-site radio solutions, the system will automatically assign any free channel so communication is reliable and instantaneous. Moreover, you can have many more radio talk groups than allocated frequencies. Audiolink has installed hundreds of single-site digital trunk radio systems, and we will use this experience and know-how to work hand in hand with you to ensure you have the best solution to suit your requirements. We will propose, design, install and test the selected system and train your users, but we don’t stop there: we believe in long-term partnerships and we provide ongoing support, warranties and maintenance, to ensure your system delivers all you need it to, for as long as you need it to.
Advantages of installing a Distributed Antenna System:
- Better defined coverage
- Fewer coverage holes
- Same coverage using a lower overall power
- Individual antennas do not need to be as high as a single antenna for the equivalent coverage
- Minimal disruption during deployment
- Ongoing support and service from Audiolink
