Audiolink has installed two MOTOTRBO™ SLR 5500 Repeaters for Gunwharf Quays. The SLR 5500 is the latest high-performance repeater from Motorola Solutions and offers 10 times more processing power, 125 times more data capacity, and 15 times more memory than the DR 3000 repeaters Gunwharf Quays had previously deployed. Packed with all the latest digital technology, the SLR 5500 integrates voice and data seamlessly, with advanced yet easy-to-use features. Engineered with the next generation in mind, the SLR 5500 has a small, sleek design and low power consumption.
Gunwharf Quays has also deployed the dispatch software TRBOnet to enable its dispatchers to efficiently coordinate and track teams and dispatch the closest workers to incidents; it can also log events and record communications, in case retrospective data is required.
Gunwharf Quays has equipped its teams with the latest digital radios and accessories from Motorola to ensure they can work and communicate efficiently and clearly in the field. The two-wire covert earpieces and discreet operational critical wireless surveillance kits for plain clothes security officers also ensure any incidents can be dealt with and recorded unobtrusively, so enhancing security and the ability to treat matters appropriately. Finally, the man-down licence keys that are integrated into some of the radios further enhance user safety.
